PICKING APART THE BLIGHT UNIVERSE
'Kelburns Haunted Forest has been running for multiple years now. Every year the team raise the bar with their ideas and performances.
2022's ANARCHY and 2023's ASYLUM had solid themes and we were happy with the trails performance overall. We learned a lot, and the feedback was positive, but for 2024 we are getting back to the heart of the trail; the scares!'

THE DIRECTION
Our operations team and staff members had been asking the trail survivors for feedback throughout our 2023 event. We heard many opinions on the events theme and pacing.
We listened to what you had to say and we endeavoured to tackle the issues that cast, crew, staff and of course our incredible attendees had. For 2024 we are determined to bring a level of theatrical involvement yet to be seen in the Haunted Forest. Here's what you can expect in this years trail:

• A theme that fits and is based in the forest.
• Scenes driven by action, not spoken exposition.
• A cohesive, flowing story.
• Involvement of the group. Be part of the trail.
• Better response times to problems/delays.
• Operational Stewards.
• A stand alone experience for those who just want a good night out.
• An optional bigger universe to sink your teeth into.
• A bigger and better ending.
• And another scare for good measure.

Our Operations team checks in regularly with the event staff and actors to ensure that everyone feels safe, comfortable and in the right frame of mind to deliver the best possible experience.
Not only are we providing a solid team foundation to build each years event on, but we are anchoring the quality that people have come to expect from the Haunted Forest Events. We can't do that without the right people.'
